University of Toronto

I'm a PhD Candidate researching Economics of Innovation and Industrial organization at the University of Toronto. Starting September, I am joining the MSI department in KU Leuven as Assistant Professor of Managerial Economics.

My research focuses on the role of patent trade and enforcement on firms' innovative performance. I combine US patent data, patent-litigation data and firm-level industry information to estimate structural models and test theoretical predictions about the role of IP and innovation.

I am currently a Junior Fellow at Massey College, and an alumni of the School of advanced Studies of the University of Udine.

Outside of research, I love skiing and I am passionate about fantasy literature, RPG games and medieval history.
